The Presbyterian Church in
America was formed in 1973 by a group of ministers and laymen who
wanted to be a part of a denomination that would be conservative, Bible
believing, evangelistic and missions minded. Throughout the past
twenty-eight years, Christianity Today has proclaimed the PCA church to
be one of the fastest growing denominations in America.
As we become your new neighbors, we want to get to know as
many of you as possible. Christ Presbyterian Church wants to be salt
and light in our community and we pray that we can help lift the
burdens of those around us. We reach out especially to those without a
church home who are looking for a fellowship of Christians and
meaningful worship and teaching from the Word of God.
In saying this, we want to be honest in confessing that we are
only sinners who have been saved by grace. But we have a great Savior
who "has begun a good work in us and will continue it until the day of
Jesus Christ."
Christ Presbyterian Church is opposed to abortion and the
homosexual lifestyle, but we are also opposed to every sin that is an
affront to a holy God. But, as we have just said, we are all sinners,
and no matter what you have done, we believe without any question that
the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses from sin all who
sincerely trust in Him.
